100 librat që duhet të lexoni para se të vdisni

“Miqtë e mirë, librat e mirë dhe ndërgjegjja e fjetur: është jeta ideale", thotë Mark Twain. Kurse Walt Disney thoshte se, “Në libra ka më shumë thesare se në të gjitha thesaret e piratëve”.

Ray Bradbury shprehej se, “Ka një krim tjetër më të keq se sa djegia e librave. Një prej tyre është të mos i lexosh ata”. Por, Mao Tse-tung theksonte se, “Të lexosh shumë libra është e dëmshme”, kështu që lista me 100 librat që duhet të lexoni gjatë jetës do t’ju ndihmojë në këtë drejtim.

Redaktorët e librave në “Amazon” kanë përzgjedhur 100 librat që duhet të lexoni gjatë jetës. Shumë prej titujve janë libra të shekullit të 20-të apo librat më të shitur vitet e fundit. Libri më i vjetër është “Pride and Prejudice”, i Jane Austen, i botuar në vitin 1813.

Në listë gjenden libra të zhanreve të ndryshme si fikshin, jo fikshin, për fëmijë dhe novela për të rinj si “The Hunger Games” dhe “Harry Potter”.

“Me 100 librat që duhet të lexoni gjatë jetës, ne kemi krijuar një udhërrëfyes për literaturën e jetës pa e bërë atë të ngjajë si detyrë shtëpie”, thotë Sara Nelson, drejtoreshë e Printit dhe librave në Kindle tek Amazon.

“Gjatë shumë muajve, ekipi ka debatuar me pasion dhe mbrojti librat që kërkonin të ishin pjesë e listës.”
